To safeguard the public’s safety and security during the commemoration of All Saints and All Souls’ Days on November 1 and Nov. 2, respectively, over 5,000 police officers have been stationed in cemeteries and transportation hubs in Central Luzon.

The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3regional )’s director, Brig. General Cesar R. Pasiwen, stated on Saturday that the police officers in the area will provide the highest level of security and public safety services.

To guarantee zero crime during the observation of Undas 2022, Pasiwen said driver support centers with road safety marshals had been constructed in the main thoroughfares and secondary roads in the area.

He gave orders to all city and provincial directors in the area to constantly carry out operations focused on the police, to maintain a high degree of alertness and vigilance, and to make sure that there is a significant police presence in all hubs of activity, including churches.

From October 29 to November 4, 2022, the entire Philippine National Police, according to Pasiwen, is on high alert.

In a statement, he said, “We encourage the people not to hesitate to report any incidence to the police in your local police station or through PNP hotline number 0998-598-5330/0917-623-5700.”
