On Monday, a large number of Instagram users across the globe claimed that their accounts had been stopped, and the firm said it was looking into the matter.

“Some of you may be having trouble logging into your Instagram account, as we are aware. We regret the inconvenience and are looking into it. #instagramdown,” declared the business on Twitter.

Online photo-sharing and social networking services have experienced poor access since the morning, according to the Downdetector.com website, which monitors access issues throughout the world.

One graph reveals that around 10.17 a.m. Eastern time, more than 7,000 customers reported the service to be unavailable (1417GMT).

A spokeswoman for Meta, the company that owns Instagram, reportedly stated that the firm is aware that users in various regions of the world experience problems.

The representative issued a statement saying, “We’re working to rectify the situation as quickly as we can and are sorry for the inconvenience.

Users who flooded Twitter with complaints over the problem requested Instagram restore their accounts and questioned the corporation as to why they had been deleted or disabled.
