PH reaches 94.21% of the Covid-19 vaccine’s intended audience.
As of Sunday, the Philippines had immunized 73,582,128 people, or 94.21 percent of its target population, according to data released on Monday by the Department of Health (DOH).
The DOH said in its most recent Covid-19 case bulletin that 40,781 more people had their full vaccinations from October 31 to November 6.
About 70,629 people received their additional dose over the same time frame, bringing the total number of the increased population to 20,651,203.
The goal of the government is to fully immunize 78,100,578 Filipinos since the Covid-19 vaccine deployment began.
The DOH also stated that there are now 907 Covid-19 instances every day on average.
The daily infections have often ranged from 1,000 to 2,000 cases in the preceding weeks.
There were 243 confirmed deaths and 6,346 additional cases between October 24 and October 30.
From October 24 to November 6, the DOH noted 28 more deaths.
The number of severe and critical infections decreased to 640 within the same time period due to the addition of two cases.
Among the 2,427 beds in the intensive care unit (ICU), just 20.6%, or 503, are being used; in contrast, 24.3%, or 5,145, of the 21,181 non-ICU beds, are being used.
