8,536,051 Central Luzon residents in total have signed up with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services 3 (PSA RSSO 3), this amounts to 68.7% of the region’s target registrants.

According to the research, the most recent statistic is 31.3 percent lower than the region’s planned population of 12.4 million.

With 2,449,002 registrations, Bulacan has the most among the provinces in the area, followed by Pampanga (1,951,985) and Nueva Ecija (1587,544).

On the other side, Zambales has 707, 479, Bataan has 597, 713, and Aurora has 169, 561 registrants. Tarlac has 1,072,767 registrants.

The province of Zambales came out on top in terms of completed percentage based on the estimated target registrants, with 77.8%, followed by Aurora with 71.9 percent and Tarlac with 71.4 percent.

Bulacan, Pampanga, and Nueva Ecija were the three provinces with the lowest success rates, respectively, at roughly 66.0 percent, 67.3 percent, and 68.7 percent.

While this was going on, the province of Bataan maintained its momentum by reaching 70% of its goal.

The data also indicated that, with the exception of Zambales, where more people registered in the second quarter compared to the first and third quarters, the number of registrants in all provinces in the region continued to decline.

According to Central Luzon, two-thirds of the target population has been reached, according to Arlene M. Divino, regional director of PSA RSSO 3.

Divino expressed optimism that within the year, the final third of the target population would be registered.
