From November 14–20, the daily average of new Covid-19 cases decreased by 12%.

The Department of Health (DOH) said Monday that the daily average of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases reduced by 12 percent between Nov. 14 and 20.

The number decreased to 1,143 daily in the most recent week from the 1,296 per day recorded from November 7 to November 13.

8,004 new cases and 93 verified deaths were reported in the most recent case bulletin.
The DOH said that 28 of the extra fatalities happened between November 7 and November 20.

The number of severe and critical illnesses decreased from 613 instances the previous week to 568 cases over the same time period while two new cases were added to the list.

Only 493 of the 2,358 beds in the intensive care unit (ICU) are being used, or 20.9 percent, but 4,796 of the 20,754 non-ICU beds are being used, or 23.1 percent.

Currently, 73,707,875 people, or 94.38 percent of the target population for the nation (78,100,578), have received the Covid-19 vaccination, including 79.46 percent of 8,721,357 seniors.

Out of the population that had received all of their vaccinations, 20,866,539 had received booster doses as of Nov. 20.
