The Register Anywhere Project (RAP) pilot test will be conducted at five malls in Metro Manila beginning in December, according to a statement made on Wednesday by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

The initial test would be held at SM Fairview in Quezon City, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, SM South Mall in Las Pinas City, Robinsons Place Manila, and Robinsons Galleria in Quezon City, according to a statement from Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco.

All Filipinos, age 18 and older, who have lived in the Philippines for at least one year and in the region where they wish to register for at least six months prior to Election Day are eligible to register as barangay election voters.

All Filipinos between the ages of 15 and 30 who have lived in the area where they want to register to vote for at least six months prior to Election Day are eligible to register as SK election voters.

Activities involving voter registration will take place Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in all city/municipal offices of election officers.

Along with registration applications, at this time voter registration records can also be transferred, voting status can be reactivated, and entries in the voter registration record can be changed or corrected.

Sonia Bea Wee-Lozada, the director of the Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV), announced that overseas voter registration would begin on December 9 in the majority of Philippine embassies and consulate generals across the world as well as the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) in Taiwan.

However, beginning on December 11, voter registration will be available in embassies open from Sunday through Thursday.

She continued by saying that voters who would like to participate in the 2025 elections but are scheduled to work overseas should register with the OFOV in Manila.
