Now that tourist borders have been reopened, Filipino travelers are urged to visit Taiwan.

Since October, Taipei has further loosened entrance requirements, enabling visitors visiting Taiwan to undergo a “self-initiated prevention” rather than a quarantine.

All passengers two years of age and older will receive four fast test kits to use as self-monitoring tools once they arrive.

“You are free on your first day in Taiwan. During a recent travel expo in Taguig City, Peiyung Hsu, a representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines, said: “You can go anywhere you wish.

In addition to improved facilities and service quality, he added, “Taiwan offers unique travel experiences to foreign visitors, like food tourism, leisure farms, bicycle tourism, and many more.” “We cordially invite more of our Filipino friends to travel to Taiwan, dine, and shop. I think you’ll find it to be among the most welcoming, interesting, and safe places on earth.

Before the epidemic, 510,000 Filipino tourists took use of Taiwan’s visa-free policy, which was tested in 2017.

Taipei reinstituted the program this year, and it will continue through July 31, 2023. If a visitor’s stay is limited to 14 days and cannot be extended, no visa is needed.

The Taiwan Tourism Bureau has increased advertisements for its travel products to draw in foreign travelers, particularly for its railway and food tourism, in an effort to hasten the revival of its tourism industry.

“I hope to see more Filipino tourists appreciate the beauty of Taiwan,” Hsu remarked in reference to Taiwan’s loosened travel regulations.
