On Tuesday, a representative of the Technical Education and Abilities Development Authority (TESDA) advised everyone to take advantage of their skills and get micro-credentials, especially laborers.

He mentioned that TESDA has a wide range of programs available, including three-year diploma programs in electrical engineering and agricultural technology as well as ladderized programs.

“They might graduate from the three-year program with a minimum of 21 NCs (national certificates), and they will be prepared for employment. Additionally, we are coordinating with other nations. Bertiz added that the nation and Hungary have signed a contract relating to the most recent training and skill development. He lists tourism, healthcare, IT-BPOs, construction, and agriculture as priority industries.

According to him, 86 percent of TESDA graduates are able to find employment both domestically and overseas.
