The city of Zambo allots P57.6 million for employee year-end bonuses.

An official announced on Wednesday that the city administration has set aside PHP57.6 million for the year-end bonuses of its 2,306 employees.
Geraldine Dela Paz, the city’s budget officer, stated that the allocation for the year-end bonus or the Collective Negotiation Agreement was included in the city’s second supplementary budget (CNA).
Each qualified worker, whether regular or contract, has the option of receiving a PHP25,000 incentive.
Dela Paz reported, “the City Council on Monday approved the Supplemental Budget 2 which contains the allotment of PHP57.6 million meant for CNA for municipal employees.”
We can give each employee a maximum of PHP25,000 CNA reward under the rules of the Department of Budget and Management. We are pleased that we could save enough money for the CNA, she continued.
She claimed that the necessary paperwork is being prepared for the CNA’s release following December 15.
The CNA is provided based on the savings made by the municipal government on transportation and delivery costs, supplies and materials costs, travel and communication costs, repairs and maintenance costs, and utility costs without impairing office operations.
