Malacanang Palace is now accessible for the customary “Simbang Gabi”

For the customary Simbang Gabi, the public can now visit Malacanang Palace (dawn masses).
This came after Friday’s announcement by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. that the nine-day Misa de Gallo will take place in Mabini Hall’s parking lot inside the Malacaang grounds.
According to a statement from Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil, the officer in charge of the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS), Marcos made the revelation while hosting a Christmas celebration for staff members of the Office of the President in the parking lot of Mabini Hall.
Daily masses will be held in front of Mabini Hall at 4:30 a.m., and attendees may enter by Gate 6 directly in front of Kalayaan Hall, according to the president, Garafil stated.
Prior to that, on December 3, Marcos oversaw the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Kalayaan Grounds of the Malacaan Palace to offer Filipinos a fresh feeling of optimism despite the ongoing epidemic and other difficulties facing the nation.
On December 4, he oversaw a nationwide gift-giving event called “Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya” in the Malacanang Palace.
The event, which was happening simultaneously in 40 various locations across the country, was open to about 600 kids.
