As stated by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. last week, the general public is now permitted to enter the grounds of Malacaang Palace to see the Malacaang Christmas Tree and parols and to attend the Simbang Gabi.

Starting on December 18 and running through December 24, the Palace grounds will be available to the public from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day as part of the festival theme “Tara sa Palasyo.”

According to a Palace release, the public will have the opportunity to witness the Christmas Tree and parols during the customary Simbang Gabi, which will run through December 24.

At 4:30 a.m., Simbang Gabi will take place in front of Mabini Hall.

Visitors to Malacaang can access the Palace Grounds by way of Gate 6.

During the Christmas dinner for the staff of the Office of the President held last Friday, President Marcos announced the opening of the Malacaang Grounds for the customary Simbang Gabi.

The Christmas tree was lit by the President at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacaang early this month, and he also organized a gift-giving occasion and Christmas party in front of the Palace.

The President stated that it is his intention to make sure that every Filipino child has a happy and fulfilling Christmas.
