MRT-3 announces shortened hours of operation over the holidays.



Despite having fewer operating hours over the holidays, Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will remain open.
The MRT-3 said Monday that its running hours on December 24 and 31 would be shortened, with the first train pulling into North Avenue Station at 4:37 a.m. and the last train leaving at 7:48 p.m.
The first train will arrive at Taft Avenue Station at 5:18 in the morning, and the last train will leave at 8:26 in the evening.
The first trains will arrive later than usual on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1, 2023), although operating hours will be extended on both days.
At North Avenue Station, the first train will arrive at 6:30 in the morning, and the final train will leave at 9:30 in the evening. At 6:30 in the morning and 10:09 at night, the first and last trains departed from Taft Avenue Station, respectively.
The first train will arrive at North Avenue Station at 4:38 in the morning and the last train will arrive at 9:30 in the evening. The first train will arrive at Taft Avenue Station at 5:19 in the morning and the last train will arrive at 10:09 in the evening.
MRT-3 warned travelers to stay away from bringing forbidden goods such as unopened food, firearms, and flammable materials to prevent travel delays.
The mandatory wearing of face masks and other Covid-19 health and safety regulations will continue to be followed.
