Scholarships of 329 million yen (roughly PHP143 million) are being offered by the Japanese government…

Filipino instructors and students can now apply for Japan scholarships.

Now accepting applications for Japan’s 2023 scholarship program are Filipino teachers and students studying Japanese.
The 2023 Monbukagakusho Scholarship Program has two new categories that are geared toward foreign instructors and college students majoring in Japanese.
The applicant must be under 35 years old, have at least five years of experience, and be employed as a teacher in elementary or secondary education or a teacher training institution in order to be eligible for the “teacher training” category.
Upon approval, Japan would provide funding for the applicant’s research in a Japanese institution in the areas of educational management, instructional strategies, special subjects, and observation study.
On the other side, Filipino students majoring in Japanese studies between the ages of 18 and 29 are qualified for a one-year scholarship in Japan.
According to the Japanese Embassy in Manila on Thursday, the scholar must fulfill both requirements by going back to the Philippines.
You can browse and download application forms as well as details on requirements at the Embassy website.
The submission deadline is January 20, 2023.
The procedure includes document screening, written tests, and interviews, according to the embassy.
