In 2024, India will launch its first mission into space.



According to Dr. Jitendra Singh, India’s Minister of State for Space, Science, Technology, Earth Sciences, and Atomic Energy, the H-1 mission, which will be the country’s first human space journey, will launch in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Gaganyaan is the name of India’s overarching human spaceflight program.
The performance of the crew escape system and parachute-based deceleration system would be shown for various flight situations during two test vehicle trips without crew before the H-1 mission, according to Singh.
The second uncrewed mission, G-2, is planned to launch in the first quarter of 2024, followed by the first uncrewed mission, G-1, in the last quarter of 2023. The final human space trip, H-1, is planned to launch in the second half of 2024.
Singh clarified The G-1 mission aims to verify the effectiveness of the orbital module propulsion system, mission control, communication system, and recovery procedures. A humanoid will be the mission’s payload.
Singh added that the astronauts for the human space flight mission have been identified and are presently receiving training in Bangalore.
