P2 fuel price increases will at least meet drivers on January 3
On Tuesday, the first working day of 2023, oil corporations will enact significant price rises.
The price of gasoline would increase by PHP2.90 per liter and that of diesel by PHP2.10 per liter, according to separate advisories from Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell.
Kerosene prices at Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell would likewise rise by PHP3.05 per liter.
Shell claims that increasing freight costs drove up fuel prices at the beginning of this year.
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) costs decreased on January 1 by PHP3.09 to PHP4.20 per kilogram.
An 11-kilogram LPG cylinder will now cost PHP46.20 instead of PHP33.99 as a result.
