Cities in NegOcc established one-stop centers for business registration

This provincial capital and several cities in Negros Occidental have established one-stop shopping for business permit applications and renewals this Tuesday, 2023.
According to a statement from the municipal government, businesses in Bacolod have the option of applying for their mayor’s permission either physically or electronically through the Business Permits and Licensing Division.
Until February 15, those who prefer manual processing can be served on the 4th floor of Ayala Malls Capitol Central, from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Government departments such as the Bureau of Fire Protection, City Health Office, Permits and Licensing Division, City Treasurer’s Office-Licensing Division, and City Planning and Development Office-Zoning Division were required to sign business permits under the business-one-stop-shop (BOSS) system.
People who desire to use the online processing can visit https://ebpls.bacolodcity.gov.ph in the meantime.
The Business Permits and Licensing Office in Victorias is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until January 6, and from January 9 to February 15 it will be located in the CityMall Victorias.
Through the facility, the rapid and effective delivery of services from various departments and agencies under one roof is ensured for business permit applications and renewals through the streamlined method.
The Business Permits and Licensing Office began operating its BOSS in the City Hall Annex facility in San Carlos, the province’s northernmost city, on Tuesday.
The local administration stated that “government offices were put up to cater to the diverse transactions of the public to enable convenient processing.”
Owners and managers of companies that run restaurants, finance companies, retail stores, hotels, and transportation services are among those they serve.
Services offered include tax payment, issuing of community tax certificates, and other business-related obligations, in addition to the application and renewal of the mayor’s permit.
