Saturday will feature gloomy skies and rain thanks to LPA.

On Saturday, the majority of the country is expected to have cloudy skies and rain thanks to a low-pressure area (LPA) and the northeast monsoon, often known as “amihan.”
The LPA was last assessed to be 1,000 km east of Southeastern Mindanao, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA4 )’s a.m. weather bulletin.
Over Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao, the LPA’s trough and the shear line will bring cloudy skies with sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms.
Contrarily, the “amihan” will bring cloudy skies and rain to the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, rest of Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon.
Over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, the same weather phenomena will produce partly overcast to cloudy skies with light rainfall.
Over the entire nation, winds from the northeast to the east will range from moderate to strong, and coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The temperature will vary from 23°C to 29°C in Metro Manila, 15°C to 21°C in Baguio City, 24°C to 31°C in Laoag City, 24°C to 28°C in Legazpi City, 25°C to 30°C in Metro Cebu, and 24°C to 30°C in Metro Davao.
