Following the opening of its third mobile laboratory and diagnostic clinic in the province of Albay, the municipal administration of Daraga is now able to provide free healthcare services to at least 300 people each day.

The Arangkada Banwa Mobile Laboratory and Clinics (ABMLCs) Bus is an addition to the two mobile ABMLC vans that are currently providing the locals with high-quality healthcare services, according to Honeybet Sulivan, Daraga’s information officer.

According to Sulivan, the ABMLC can perform a variety of medical laboratory procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECG), blood tests, digital X-rays, and urinalysis.

“There are other ultrasounds available for the entire abdomen, the kidney, gallbladder, urinary bladder, the breast, the thyroid, the liver, the prostate, and prenatal or ultrasounds for expectant mothers. The ABMLC Bus has a cozy waiting area and is completely air-conditioned “She said.

As of this writing, the ABMLC is situated next to the Daraga-covered court in front of the Rural Health Unit (RHU).

“Visit the Daraga Covered Court from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), to receive free medical care. The following prerequisites must be met in order to receive an ultrasound appointment: a valid identification card, a certificate of indigency, and a physician’s referral “She spoke.

One of Mayor Awin Baldo’s initiatives is the ABMLC, which aims to offer top-notch medical treatment to the city’s people, particularly those who live in remote areas.

Sulivan said that in 2022, the two mobile clinics, which were positioned for two days in each barangay of the town, were able to treat 15,312 people in total.
