Makati and Quezon City portions lack water Jan. 23-24



On Thursday, the Manila Water Company (Manila Water) notified that some areas of Makati City and Quezon City would experience water interruptions on January 23–24 as a result of its service improvement initiatives.
Parts of Barangay Kasilawan, specifically on E. Pascua corner C. Francisco; Barangays Valenzuela and Olympia, specifically on JB Roxas corner Hormiga; all in Makati City; would be affected from 10 p.m. on January 23 to 3:30 a.m. on January 24 due to line maintenance.
Parts of Barangay Loyola Heights, notably on Daang Tubo Street; Barangay Amihan, specifically on Molave Street; and Barangay Libis, specifically on Oakville Street, all in Quezon City, will be affected from 10 p.m. on January 23 to 4 a.m. on January 24 due to line maintenance.
Residents in the impacted areas were encouraged by the water corporation to stockpile enough water to meet their demands throughout the service enhancement works.
