Most of Luzon will have cloudy skies and rain on Saturday thanks to the northeast monsoon, also known as “amihan” and the shear line.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated in its 4 a.m. weather report that the Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms brought on by the shear line.

The same weather will affect Caraga and Davao Region, however, it will be caused by a low-pressure area’s trough.

On the other hand, the “amihan” will bring rain and gloomy skies to the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Aurora, Rizal, Laguna, and the Cordillera region.

In addition, it will bring light rains and partly overcast to occasionally cloudy skies to Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon and Calabarzon.

Partly overcast to cloudy skies will prevail throughout the rest of the nation, with sporadic rain showers brought on by small thunderstorms.

With moderate to rough seas, moderate to strong winds will blow over Northern Luzon in a northeast-to-east direction.

Similar northeasterly winds with moderate to rough coastal waves will be experienced by the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern part of Mindanao.

The remaining parts of Mindanao will have mild to moderate northeasterly winds and light to moderate seas.

Metro Manila’s temperature will vary from 23°C to 30°C, while Laoag City’s will be 22°C to 33°C, Lipa City’s will be 23°C to 28°C, Iloilo City and Bacolod City’s will be 25°C to 30°C, Metro Cebu’s will be 24°C to 30°C, Cagayan de Oro City’s will be 23°C to 31°C, and Metro Davao’s
