10 mobile training laboratories are given to the areas by TESDA.
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) handed over ten mobile training laboratories (MTLs) to its regional offices on Monday.
These mobile labs, according to the TESDA, would improve the skills training program, particularly in remote places. Tools and other training materials are contained in each trailer.
The MTLs, according to TESDA Director General Danilo Cruz, demonstrates the organization’s dedication to offering livelihood and skills training to Filipinos around the country.
The 10 MTLs are for the Caraga, Regions 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12, as well as the Cordillera Administrative Region.
According to the TESDA, beneficiaries were chosen by taking into account communities affected by conflicts, disaster-prone provinces, and provinces with a high incidence of poverty.
Annual graduation rates from the following MTL courses are predicted to exceed 6,000: Construction of photovoltaic systems, production of bread and pastries, food processing, production of organic agriculture, carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation maintenance, and production of agricultural crops are all NC II-level skills.
“We at TESDA support the present administration’s initiative to lower the nation’s poverty rate. Aniceto Bertiz III, the deputy director general, stated in a statement, “We seek to reach underprivileged children failing to reach the doorsteps of a tech-VOC school and give them learning and economic empowerment.”
TESDA offices in the National Capital Region, Regions 3, 4, A, Mountain Province, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, Palawan, Sorsogon, Negros Occidental, Bohol, Samar, Zamboanga del Norte, Bukidnon, Davao de Oro, North Cotabato, and Agusan del Sur received 16 service vehicles at the same time.
According to TESDA, these cars would increase the offices’ capacity for quick service.
