The northeast monsoon, also known as “amihan,” will cause cloudy skies and occasional rain on Saturday throughout the majority of Luzon.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) 4 a.m. weather forecast, the “amihan” would also cause cloudy skies and rain in the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera area, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Due to the sheer line, the bureau also predicted cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the Bicol Region, Northern Samar, and Palawan.

Due to the “amihan,” Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly overcast to the cloudy sky with light rainfall.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail throughout the rest of the nation, with sporadic rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Seas in Luzon and the Visayas will be moderate to rough due to northeasterly winds that range from weak to strong.

Light to moderate winds from the northeast to the north will blow over Mindanao, along with light to moderate waves.

The temperature will vary from 23°C to 29°C in Metro Manila, 20°C to 28°C in Laoag City, 23°C to 28°C in Lipa City, 24°C to 28°C in Metro Cebu, 24°C to 30°C in Cagayan de Oro City, and 24°C to 32°C in Metro Davao.
