Most of PH Monday is still dampened by rain showers.
On Monday, the weather office predicted that the shear line and the northeast monsoon, also known as the amihan, would continue to dampen most of the nation.
The shear line will bring sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms to the Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.
The Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the Bicol regions, as well as the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon, will see rain showers brought on by the northeast monsoon.
In its 4 a.m. report, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that moderate to heavy rainfall could cause landslides or flash floods in these locations.
Over the rest of Luzon, the northeast monsoon will likewise bring mild showers.
On the other hand, isolated rain showers brought on by localized thunderstorms will occur in the rest of Mindanao.
Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern part of Mindanao will have moderate to high winds and moderate to rough waves.
The eastern shoreline of Mindanao, the eastern and western seaboards of the Visayas, and the northern, eastern, western, and southern seaboards of Luzon are all expected to experience rough to very rough seas.
Fishing boats and other small seacrafts were cautioned not to enter the water, and bigger seacrafts were warned against strong waves.
According to PAGASA, the rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and light to moderate seas.
