PBBM hopes the spirit of Lent motivates Filipinos to give back to society.



In observance of the Lenten season, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged the Catholic faithful on Wednesday to reaffirm their commitment to helping others.
The President made the call while participating in the Ash Wednesday celebration, which marks the beginning of Lent.
In a Facebook post, Marcos stated, “We pray for our nation’s calm reflection this Ash Wednesday.” “May the love of Christ motivate us to endure and faithfully carry on our service to others as we prepare for the season of Lent.”
In another Facebook post, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) expressed a desire for a serious Ash Wednesday ceremony.
According to the PCO, the event serves as a reminder for Catholic Christians to fast and pray.
