Certain areas of PH have rain showers because of the “amihan” shear line.
The northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” and the shear line will provide rain showers in several sections of the nation, the meteorological bureau predicted on Tuesday.
Across Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Oriental, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected as a result of the shear line, which is the convergence of cold and warm winds that causes rain.
Throughout the Quezon and Bicol regions, the northeast monsoon may produce showers of rain.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Agency (PAGASA) warned that moderate to heavy rains could cause flash floods or landslides in certain locations.
Isolated rain showers will occur in Mindanao, the Visayas, and Palawan as a result of nearby thunderstorms. PAGASA stated that during strong thunderstorms, landslides or flash floods are also possible in some regions.
The northeast monsoon will bring mild showers to Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Nevertheless, moderate to high gusts and moderate to choppy seas will continue to affect the entire nation.
The northern, eastern, and western coasts of Luzon, as well as the eastern and western coasts of the Visayas, are expected to see rough to very rough seas.
Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised against entering the water, and larger seacrafts are warned against strong waves, according to PAGASA.
