Manila Water, one of the government's two water concessionaires in Metro Manila, advised its customers…

5 cities and a town without water March 8-10

The Manila Water Corporation (Manila Water) said on Tuesday that water interruptions will occur from March 8 to 10 due to service enhancement works in various areas of the Metro Manila cities of Makati, Quezon, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Taguig.
Parts of Barangay Poblacion in Makati City were impacted from 10 p.m. on March 8 to 3 a.m. on March 9 as a result of line meters and strainers clogging.
Parts of Barangays Vasra and Project 6 in Quezon City, particularly along Visayas Avenue, may experience water disruption from 10 p.m. on March 9 to 4 a.m. on March 10 due to line meter replacement, line meter, and strainer declogging.
According to Manila Water, leak repairs would be made in Barangays Valencia and Horseshoe, notably along Broadway and Aurora Avenue.
Parts of Barangay East Rembo in Makati City are affected by the line meter replacement, notably the corner of 19th Avenue and C-5 Service Road.
Line meter and strainer declogging is planned for Shaw Boulevard’s Samat corner and Samat corner Calbayog in Barangays Highway Hills, Wack-Wack, and Pleasant Hills in Mandaluyong City.
A portion of Barangay Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City, Barangay Dela Paz in Pasig City, and Barangays Santo Rosario Kanluran and Santo Rosario Silangan in Pateros are also affected.
Residents in the impacted areas were encouraged by the water company to stockpile enough water to meet their demands throughout the service enhancement efforts.
