Most of PH will continue to experience rain showers owing to LPA and “amihan”

According to the weather agency, the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” and a low-pressure area (LPA) will continue to bring rain showers to most of the country.
The LPA will deliver scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao and Eastern Visayas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s 4 a.m. weather bulletin. The LPA was last tracked 265 km east-northeast of Davao City (PAGASA).
The northeast monsoon will deliver rain showers to Cagayan Valley.
PAGASA warned that moderate to heavy rainfall might cause flash floods or landslides in all of these areas.
According to PAGASA, flash floods, and landslides can also occur during heavy thunderstorms.
Throughout the remainder of Luzon, the “amihan” would deliver mild showers, it was said.
Across Luzon, the eastern Visayas, and Mindanao, moderate to high winds and moderate to rough seas are still present.
The northern and western coasts of Northern Luzon are warned against moderate to rough seas for fishing boats and other small sea vessels.
According to PAGASA, winds will be light to moderately strong with modest to moderate seas elsewhere.
