CEBU CITY, Philippines – Governor Gwendolyn Garcia has pledged to seek approval for the improvement…

To new medical technologists, PBBM says: “Help improve the healthcare system.”

On Wednesday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. congratulated those who had passed the March 2023 MedTech Licensure Test and encouraged them to participate in current initiatives to advance the Philippine healthcare system.
When we congratulate our March 2023 MedTech Licensure Test Passers, we are overcome with pride and delight. As he tweeted the Professional Regulation Commission’s (PRC) announcement of the results, Marcos made the following statement.
“Let’s work together to improve the healthcare system in our country. Good luck to all of the RMTs! (Long live our brand-new licensed medical technologists!)” he continued.
PRC said that 4,714, or 76.46 percent, of the 6,165 candidates who took the exam on March 8–9 were successful.
Velez College and Cebu Doctors University, with 143 and 95 successful candidates, respectively, both had 100% exam pass rates.
According to the PRC, Sidrey Mel Aldeguer Flores of Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod City scored the highest on the board exam with a score of 92.10 percent.
Nijell Tiu Potencioso and Khelly Mae Binondo Villarin, both from Velez College, came in second and third, respectively, with scores of 91.90 percent.
In order to increase access to higher-quality healthcare services across the nation, Marcos stated in November of last year that his administration is looking to strengthen public-private partnerships in the healthcare sector.
He claimed that a strong third-party review and a public-private collaboration will “address efficiency difficulties in dealing with the health requirements of Filipinos.”
In various addresses, Marcos has pledged to value, promote, and safeguard medical professionals and other contemporary heroes.
He claimed that his administration is also working to develop incentives for Filipino medical experts to remain in the nation.
Tests that support disease diagnosis and therapy are the main duties of medical technologists.
