DICT will increase citizens of Caraga’s knowledge of data privacy
The regional office of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT-13) will offer free online training as a way for people of the Caraga Region to deepen their understanding of data privacy.
From April 17 to 21, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, a free five-day online Data Privacy Competency Framework training will be offered, according to a warning from DICT-13 on Thursday.
The agency announced that applications are currently being accepted for the free online training, which will also be available to nearby government personnel.
The Data Privacy Act of 2012, also known as Republic Act 10173, would be the main topic of the free online course, according to DICT-13.
It stated that residents who want to work as personal information controllers, personal information processors, or data protection officials should take the training.
