Over most of PH, LPA, and ITCZ will bring rain
The meteorological agency stated on Wednesday that the low-pressure area (LPA) and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring rain to most of the nation.
The two weather systems will bring isolated rain showers and thunderstorms to the Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, and Mimaropa, according to PAGASA’s 5 a.m. weather report.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that these locations may face flash floods or landslides as a result of moderate to heavy rains.
The last time the LPA embedded along the ITCZ was seen, it occurred above the Surigao del Sur town of San Agustin.
According to PAGASA, there is a small probability that it will intensify into a tropical cyclone.
Metro Manila and the remainder of Luzon will experience mild weather, with sporadic easterly rain showers and localized thunderstorms.
The entire archipelago will continue to see light to moderate winds and light to moderate seas, according to PAGASA.
