Over PH Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear with a few scattered showers
Most of the nation will have sunny skies with sporadic rain showers, according to a weather forecaster on Wednesday.
“At this time, we are not tracking any weather disturbances.” Emong, the (former) Tropical Depression, has now gone. According to Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), “the LPA (low-pressure region) that we were watching is constantly moving away from the nation.”
He predicted that the southwest monsoon will deliver rain to Palawan. Rain is expected to fall mainly throughout the afternoon, and people are urged to take flood precautions.
Meanwhile, the remainder of Luzon will have pleasant weather.
“Isolated showers, lasting one to two hours, will occur, particularly in the afternoon,” Estareja added.
Over the Caraga and Davao areas, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected. Residents living near rivers are also urged to take flood measures.
Rain will fall in southern Mindanao, while the remainder of the Visayas will have a partly overcast to cloudy sky.
“For the remainder of the Visayas and Mindanao, warm midday is expected. Rain may fall as a result of isolated thunderstorms,” he said.
According to Estareja, there is presently no gale warning in force.
Over the whole archipelago, light to moderate winds and minor to moderate waves are expected.
