The number of APORs who have received free trips has surpassed 11 million, according to the LTFRB

Under the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board’s (LTFRB) Service Contracting Program, public utility vehicles (PUV) have delivered a total of 11,164,036 free trips to health care professionals and other allowed people outside of home (APOR) (SCP).

The LTFRB said the figure was recorded from the commencement of the program on March 29 to the present in a Facebook post on Monday.

It said that the free trips for medical personnel and APOR are accessible countrywide, not simply in the National Capital Region.

“Patuloy ang pag-arangkada ng libreng sakay sa NCR at sa buong bansa sa ilalim ng SCP bilang tugon sa kautusan ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade na libreng tulungan ang ating mga essential workers (Free rides in the NCR and throughout the country continue under the SCP in response to Tugade

The LTFRB organized another general registration and orientation session for PUV drivers and operators interested in joining the SCP last week.

PUV drivers and operators with active routes who are interested in the program can contact the LTFRB through their official Facebook page or by calling the LTFRB Program Implementing Unit Office at (02) 8529 – 7111 local 845 or the LTFRB 24/7 hotline 1342.
