Covid-19 vax dosages of 69M were given in PH

According to the National Task Force (NTF), the Philippines has provided 69,028,113 doses of coronavirus vaccinations, with the average daily immunization rate continuing to rise.

According to the most recent data from the National Covid-19 vaccination dashboard, 31,355,064 Filipinos are now entirely protected against the respiratory virus’s serious threat.

Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the NTF’s lead implementer, had stated that the government aims to complete the required dosages of at least 54 million Filipinos by the end of December in order to ensure population protection.

“Ang main goal natin dito is to capacitate natin ‘yung mga regions na mababa ang vaccination output,” says the official (Our primary objective here is to capacitate the regions with low vaccination output). So that they could catch up right away. In a recent interview, he stated, “We will have that momentum going forward hanggang (till) December 30.”

From November 29 to December 1, the government plans to run a three-day immunization blitz to administer at least five million Covid-19 doses every day.

“As we prepare for our National Vaccination Days, we are really excited,” Galvez remarked.

Various pharmaceutical companies have donated or procured 123,258,340 doses of Covid-19 vaccination to the Philippines thus far.

The government delivered 1,279,000 doses of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Saturday morning.

The country’s average daily immunization rate jumped to 748,839 doses in the last seven days, up from 300,000 to 400,000 doses in the preceding weeks.

Following two days of more than one million doses each, 969,858 doses were given out on Friday.
