Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the NTF’s lead implementer, had stated that the government aims to complete the required dosages of at least 54 million Filipinos by the end of December in order to ensure population protection.
“Ang main goal natin dito is to capacitate natin ‘yung mga regions na mababa ang vaccination output,” says the official (Our primary objective here is to capacitate the regions with low vaccination output). So that they could catch up right away. In a recent interview, he stated, “We will have that momentum going forward hanggang (till) December 30.”
From November 29 to December 1, the government plans to run a three-day immunization blitz to administer at least five million Covid-19 doses every day.
“As we prepare for our National Vaccination Days, we are really excited,” Galvez remarked.
