According to NTF data, 52.1 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated.
The Philippines has given out 112,745,559 coronavirus vaccination doses nationally, with 52,109,143 Filipinos receiving second doses.
On Saturday, the National Covid-19 dashboard revealed that 3,082,514 of the completely vaccinated had already received booster doses for further protection against Covid-19.
On Friday, the country received the first shipment of the Covid-19 vaccine for the year, comprising 150,540 doses of the Moderna vaccine, bringing the total number of doses purchased by the government to 13 million.
Since February 2021, 210,783,650 dosages have been distributed, both donated and purchased.
Dr. Ted Herbosa, medical adviser to the National Task Force Against Covid-19, praised the initial shipment of 2022 and urged those who have not yet been vaccinated to have their primary doses and those who have already been vaccinated to get booster shots.
At 2 p.m. on Sunday, 2,703,870 doses of donated Pfizer vaccinations from the United States will arrive, while lower-dosed vaccines for children aged 5 to 11 will arrive in the middle of this month.
