DFA reports 145 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos living abroad.
Over the previous week, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) recorded 145 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos in the Asia Pacific, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa in 106 countries and territories around the world, according to the DFA.
The DFA also announced 39 additional recoveries and no new fatalities in a Facebook post.
There have been a total of 24,518 confirmed cases among abroad Filipinos, with 8,580 seeking treatment, 14,480 recovering or being discharged, and 1,458 deaths, according to the report.
There are 1,828 people getting treatment in 29 nations and territories in the Asia Pacific Region, 4,519 people who have recovered or been discharged, and 135 deaths, according to the report.
There are 5,668 people getting treatment, 6,710 people who have recovered or been discharged, and 929 people who have died across 40 countries across the Middle East and Africa, according to the report.
There are 959 current cases in Europe’s 23 countries, 2,564 recovered or discharged patients and 130 deaths.
There are 125 Filipinos under treatment, 687 who have recovered or been discharged, and 264 who have died in 14 countries or territories across the Americas, according to the report.
