Covid-19 has been defeated by 230 additional cops, bringing the total number of active PNP cases to 947.

On Friday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) announced the recovery of 230 cases of coronavirus disease in 2019 (Covid-19).

According to the PNP’s latest Covid-19 bulletin, this brings the overall number of recovered personnel to 47,417 out of 48,491 confirmed infections.

Despite the addition of 52 new cases, the number of active cases has dropped to 947, down from 1,125 on Thursday.

The death toll has stood at 127 so far.

Meanwhile, the number of completely vaccinated PNP personnel has been estimated at 97.23 percent, or 218,964 out of almost 225,000, with those still waiting for a second vaccination at 2.38 percent, or 5,359.

Those who had a booster shot make up 47.75 percent of the police force, or 93,618 officers.

Only 879 people, or 0.39 percent, have not been immunized.
