300,000 doses are administered at ICTSI-supported Paranaque vax locations.

Since ICTSI-sponsored vaccination sites in Solaire Resort and Casino and the Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF) property in Paranaque City opened in mid-year, the vaccination support initiative of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) and Bloomberry Resorts Corp. has administered over 300,000 doses of mRNA Moderna vaccines.

As of Nov. 22, the Solaire-ICTSI Foundation Vaccination Center–Nayong Pilipino Foundation (SIVC-NPF) had administered 158,515 doses, while the SIVC–Solaire had administered 150,737 doses, totaling 309,252 doses.

The SIVC-NPF provides roughly 1,000 doses per day on average, while the SIVC-Solaire administers about 600 doses per day.

Last November 13, the two sites had the greatest dose rollout, with a total of 5,537 doses.

The vaccine rollout, which includes the installation of support facilities, is part of the 20 million doses of Moderna vaccines that the national government and the private sector, represented by ICTSI, are jointly procuring.

Thirteen million doses were allocated to the public sector, whereas seven million were allocated to the private sector.

In a 10,000-square-meter lot on the NPF property, ICTSI set up temporary cold storage and drive-through vaccination facility to help with the logistics of the bulk purchase.

ICTSI built the PHP250 million facility at no expense to the government.

“We are encouraged by the vaccinee turnout, and we have received excellent feedback from them regarding the speed and efficiency of the process in both locations — from registration through queuing to injection, which takes around 15 minutes.” You will be booked the following day if you successfully register today. “We simulated the entire process for timing before opening,” said ICTSI executive vice president Christian Gonzalez.

In both locations, health care providers and ICTSI and Solaire staff strictly adhere to the Department of Health and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases’ mandates on contactless transactions and other safety protocols, including the distribution of vaccines to priority groups.

Both facilities are currently providing immunizations to adolescents, as well as booster injections for A1 to A3 groups and front-line personnel.

During National Vaccination Days, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, Gonzalez said the SIVC-NPF has a design capacity to inoculate 15,000 people per day.

Eight ambulatory vaccination facilities and 30 drive-through booths are currently housed inside the NPF facility.

It is the country’s first large-scale immunization center, serving people of Metro Manila and neighboring regions.

The SIVC–NPF has been successfully handed over to the city government of Paranaque, with ICTSI continuing to assist with the immunization site’s operations.
