On February 14, a nationwide children’s vaccination day is being considered.

On February 14, the National Immunization Operations Center (NVOC) is considering a nationwide launch of pediatric Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 5 to 11.

The Valentine’s Day event will take place a week after the initial deployment in six vaccination sites in the National Capital Region on Monday (NCR).

Dr. Kezia Rosario, NVOC co-lead and medical specialist, announced on Saturday that the pilot program will be expanded to 32 additional vaccination sites in the NCR, including hospitals, malls, gyms, and schools.

Each pilot facility has the capacity to serve 500 vaccinees every day.

Next week, five hospitals in Central Luzon, three in Calabarzon, and one in Cotabato City will begin vaccinations for children aged 5 to 11.

“So ito po ay tinatawag nating pilot sites pa lamang kasi pinag-aaralan natin kung paano siya ma-implement nang maayos operationally, so tinitingnan rin natin kung saan mas magandang i-implement, sa hospital lang ba ba or kasama na iyong mga As a result, we’re also considering where it should be applied. Should it be in hospitals or should we include schools and other immunization venues)”,” Rosario remarked at a public conference in Laging Handa.

She went on to say that the government would look into the children’s and parents’ attitudes on vaccines.

For the primary series, the government will allocate 1.5 million reformulated Covid-19 dosages.

On Friday night, the government received 780,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine for children under the age of 18. On February 9, another 780,000 units could be delivered.

Have a good time

Children will enjoy kid-friendly dรฉcor, characters, chocolates, treasure bags, and magic acts in San Juan City.

With balloons, superheroes, and cartoon figure standees, the FilOil Flying V Centre will be converted into a party venue.

On Saturday, Mayor Francis Zamora stated on social media, “These are all aimed to distract people from the actual vaccine process.” “Layunin natin dito ay mabawasan ang kaba at takot ng mga bata sa (Our goal here is to reduce the anxiety and terror of) injection,” said the author.

The local administration will provide for 5,600 children who have pre-registered.

To avoid crowding, walk-ins are absolutely forbidden.
