Approximately 30,000 local and international job opportunities are available at the Department of Labor and Employment’s hybrid job fair (DOLE).

More than 200 firms are expected to attend the nationwide employment fair, which runs from December 6 to 13, according to DOLE Assistant Secretary Dominique Tutay.

“We’ve logged around 30,000 jobs day incentives from more than 200 firms across the country.” “We started a first-hand face-to-face job fair here in the National Capital Region yesterday, and our job seekers have the opportunity to interview with our businesses firsthand,” she said at the Laging Handa briefing on Tuesday.

“It’s still continuing on in different places until December 13,” she added. “It can be done online, and we also have face-to-face meetings in other parts of the country.”

Tutay, on the other hand, stated that there are approximately 7,000 offshore opportunities accessible in Europe and Asia.

“We have roughly 7,000 abroad positions, including cooks, waiters, nurses, and even construction-related plumbers.” “These are the job positions available at this job fair, and they are located in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan,” she added.

Those looking for work, according to Tutay, are qualified to attend job fairs.

“All of our job searchers, including those who have previously lost jobs and want to return to work, as well as our out-of-school youth who have chosen not to return to school but want to work,” she said, are entitled to participate.

Aside from the National Capital Region, the Bicol Region and the Zamboanga Peninsula will host limited face-to-face and online job fairs.

On December 8, a face-to-face job fair will be conducted at 4F Ayala Mall Legazpi, Legazpi City, Albay, while online job searchers can go to https://www.workbank.com/, the DOLE Bicol Region’s online platform partner.

On December 8, job searchers in Region 9 can go to the KCC Mall de Zamboanga in Zamboanga City. On December 8-10, they can also go to the DOLE IX Job Fair System, an online portal.

The limited face-to-face job fairs will be held in the following 12 sites:
*Cordillera Administrative Region: Skyzone Area, Porta Vaga Mall, Baguio City (December 8);
*Ilocos Region: Pangasinan Provincial PESO, Capitol Complex, Alviar St. East, Lingayen, Pangasinan (December 8);
*Cagayan Valley Region: Malvar, Santiago City (December 8);
*Central Luzon Region: Bulacan Polytechnic College, Malolos City, Bulacan and SM Olongapo, Zambales (December 8);
*Mimaropa: Bulwagang Panlalawigan, Provincial Capitol Compound, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro (December 13);
*Western Visayas: SM Iloilo, Iloilo City (December 8);
*Eastern Visayas: Robinsons Mall, Marasbaras, Tacloban City (December 8);
*Davao Region: New City Hall, Tagum City and Baranggay Gredu Covered Court, Panabo City (December 7);
*Soccsksargen: KCC Mall of Gensan Convention and Events Center (December 8); and
*Caraga: SM Butuan, Butuan City (December 8)

The following regions will be conducting the virtual job fairs:
*Calabarzon: https://www.workbank.com/ (December 8);
*Central Visayas: https://www.workbank.com/ (December 6-8); and,
*Northern Mindanao: https://www.mynimo.com/ (December 8)

The nationwide job fairs are being held to commemorate the 88th founding anniversary of the DOLE.
