Cebu Pacific is canceling six flights on December 16th.
Cebu Pacific (CEB) has postponed six domestic flights that were set to take place on December 16 due to the threat of Severe Tropical Storm Odette.
The following flights have been canceled, according to a CEB notice issued late Tuesday:
DG 6839/ DG 6840 Manila – Siargao – Manila DG 6881/ DG 6882 Manila – Surigao – Manila DG 6851/ DG 6852 Cebu – Siargao – Cebu DG 6851/ DG 6852 Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
The itinerary of “Odette” is scheduled to take her via the Caraga region and Cebu province. Heavy rains are forecast to fall in these locations and neighboring provinces.
Affected travelers have 60 days to rebook their flights or request a refund. They can also use a virtual CEB wallet to store the ticket value.
No other local carrier had announced any flight cancellations due to “Odette” as of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
On Thursday, the storm is expected to make landfall in Caraga or Eastern Visayas.
According to the weather agency, it could become a typhoon and reach a peak intensity of 155 kph before making an impact.
