During the launch of the “Rebakuna Kids” on Monday, 555 children aged 5 to 11 received their first dosage of the reformulated Pfizer vaccine in Manila.
The data from the Bagong Ospital ng Maynila and the Manila Zoo, where the immunization was held, were published by the Manila Health Department on Tuesday.
To date, 21,645 children in the smallest age group have preregistered for their Covid-19 vaccinations at www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph.
Meanwhile, 188,972 people between the ages of 12 and 17 have signed up thus far.
Manila will provide 1,000 doses of a low-dose Pfizer vaccine to children aged 5 to 11 every day.
Vaccinations will be administered in schools, health clinics, and shopping malls in the near future.
As of Monday night, the city has given out 3,238,314 doses of Covid-19 vaccination.
A total of 1,584,754 people have been properly vaccinated, with 406,780 receiving booster doses.
