Some of the ‘Odette’-affected LGUs have resumed Covid-19 immunization.

The National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) announced on Thursday that the 2nd National Covid-19 Immunization Program had restarted in some areas affected by Typhoon Odette.

Dr. Kezia Lorraine Rosario of NVOC noted at the Laging Handa briefing that certain communities of Central Visayas have already started operating their immunization sites.

“According to what I’ve heard, numerous immunization stations in Cebu province have already been operational.” “They may not be all, but they are already giving services,” she continued.

She added that immunization operations in other Surigao locations, including Dinagat Island and Siargao, had gradually resumed.

The NVOC has yet to provide comprehensive information on how many storm-affected local government units (LGUs) have initiated their vaccination efforts, according to Rosario.

“So, ngayon, we’re offering information on numerous fronts since our top goal is the safety of our vaccines, whether they’re influenced by temperature fluctuations or not,” Rosario explained.
