In Bataan, 1.27 million Covid-19 vaccine shots were provided.
BALANGA CITY. Since the inoculation program against coronavirus disease (Covid-19) began last year, the Provincial Health Office stated Tuesday that 1,273,143 doses of vaccines have been delivered.
These numbers include 116,298 booster doses administered to the whole adult population.
The mobile inoculation program, according to PHO authorities, has allowed them to bring their immunization team to remote settlements.
The remaining immunization stations in 11 towns and one metropolis, on the other hand, are completely operational.
PHO has also announced that vaccinations for youngsters aged 5 to 11 will begin.
From February 16 to 28, the national Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has placed Bataan on Alert Level 2.
The lesser restriction was imposed due to a decrease in the number of new confirmed Covid-19 cases reported in the preceding days, according to Governor Albert Garcia.
