The collecting of GSIS loans through Bayad Centers has reached P65 million.

Following the accreditation of further branches of the collecting partner, the state pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has collected approximately PHP65 million in loan payments made through Bayad Centers.

GSIS’s relationship with Bayad, which began in April of this year, offers members a safe and simple way to pay their loans while also supporting the pension fund’s goal of increasing loan collection efficiency.

“At first, there were just 1,689 Bayad outlets open. GSIS president and general manager Rolando Macasaet said in a statement on Friday that there are 2,836 Bayad collecting centers across the country accepting payments for GSIS loans as of September 2021.

Bayad accepts payments for the following GSIS loans: enhanced salary loan, emergency loan assistance, summer one-month salary loan, eCard cash advance, enhanced consolidated loan, emergency loan, home emergency loan, Study Now, Pay Later loan, Fly PAL, Pay Later loan, educational assistance loan, stock purchase loan, regular policy loan, optional policy loan, GSIS financial assistance loan, debt restructuring and repayment, multipurpose loan, computer loan, and other upcoming GSIS loans.

Borrowers may pay their loans in advance; those that are underpaid, delayed, or unpaid; or those that have been in default or have been unpaid for more than six months.

Members simply need to show GSIS text message notifications or loan amounts displayed on the electronic GSIS Member Online (eGSISMO) or GSIS Touch mobile app.

Following that, they must complete out a Bayad form with information such as their full name, business partner number, and loan type, among other things.

Loan debtors who pay through one of Bayad’s payment collecting sites will receive a text message confirming payment receipt.

They can also use eGSISMO or GSIS Touch to verify their loan payment history.

GSIS will also send you a copy of the official receipt via email.

GSIS payments are also sent to Palawan Pawnshop, M. Lhuillier Financial Services, USSC, and SM malls and supermarket stores.

Members can contact the GSIS Contact Center at 8847-4747 (Metro Manila), 1-800-8-847-4747 (Globe and Touch Mobile), or 1-800-10-847-4747 (Smart, Sun, and Talk ‘N Text), or send an email to gsiscares@gsis.gov.ph.
