SAN FERNANDO CITY, PAMPANGA — Vice Presidential candidate Sara Duterte called on government personnel from various political parties to work together after the May 2022 elections.

The mayor of Davao City, who was present at Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia Pineda’s birthday celebration, urged key officials in Region III to support development initiatives and to prioritize the Filipino people’s interests.

“Dapat po tayong lahat mga public officials ay kunin natin lahat ang ating mga kababayan, yung ating mga constituents sa ating mga lugar at i-herd natin silang lahat tungo sa ating direksyon na tuloy-tuloy na kaunlaran para sa ating bansa,”

She stated that maintaining infrastructure development and combating criminality and illegal narcotics require unity.

If Duterte is chosen vice president, she has also encouraged those at the birthday party to support her causes.

“Simulan natin sa pagbalik ng trabaho ang nawala ng pandemya. “Pangalawa is ang pagpapatuloy ng reporma na nasimulan ni Pangulong Duterte, especially the Build, Build, Build initiative o infrastructure development spending ng ating bansa, as well as yung pagsugpo sa krimen at illegal na droga sa ating komunidad,” she stated.

“Is it possible to make it masisimulan?” She said, “Kapag tayo pong lahat ay magkakaisa.”

Politicians from all around Central Luzon gathered to celebrate Pineda’s birthday.

Senatorial candidates Mark Villar, Gibo Teodoro, Loren Legarda, Migz Zubiri, and Jinggoy Estrada joined Duterte and her running mate Bongbong Marcos.

Duterte also met with Pampanga barangay captains and community leaders in a separate gathering. BBM, former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, senatorial hopefuls Teodoro, Estrada, Zubiri, Harry Roque, Robin Padilla, and Tingog Partylist third nominee Karla Estrada were among those present.
