Infections are on the rise among Manila’s medical staff and government employees.

The coronavirus illness has re-infected medical front-line workers in Manila in 2019. (Covid-19).

Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso urged cooperation during an inspection of the Araullo High School quarantine facility on the corner of United Nations and Taft Avenues, as the incidence of Covid-19 infections continues to rise.

In a video released online, Domagoso remarked, “Just for the record, tumataas ngayon ang re-infection ng mga medical front-liners sa ating mga ospital (the number of medical front-liners becoming infected in our hospitals is increasing).”

As a result of a mass illness at City Hall, physical reporting for work has been implemented on a regular basis.

He didn’t say how many hospital front-line workers or capitol staff are currently sick with Covid-19, but he said the city can handle the flood of infections.

Unvaccinated children and adults would not be allowed in malls, according to Domagoso, as decided by the mayors of Metro Manila, which is on Alert Level 3 until January 15.

Persons who refuse to receive Covid-19 vaccinations will face increased limitations in the near future.

“Nananawagan ako magpabakuna kayo,” says the narrator.

If you haven’t been vaccinated, darating ang araw pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahigpit ng pahi I believe karapatan naman ng ibang tao na nag-sakripisyo na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakuna na magpabakun I believe it is the right of those who have sacrificed to be vaccinated),” he stated.

Face-to-face classes from kindergarten to high school are also on hold until January 15.

If the Commission on Higher Education approves, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Universidad de Manila may continue with their physical education lessons.

He also reminded devotees that there will be no procession or mass gathering for the Black Nazarene feast on January 9 and Sto. Nino, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month.

“I’m pleading with you to try to be more responsible.” Let us not only consider ourselves and our well-being. Let us be accountable to our family and neighbors. In a mix of English and Filipino, Domagoso remarked, “We need to help each other.”

A total of 4,084 new illnesses had been reported in the country as of Monday.

A total of 253 new cases were filed in Manila, bringing the total number of active cases to 766.

Tondo 1 had the most cases (368), followed by Sampaloc (77), and Tondo 2 (73).
