Pacman will fill the mega jail with corrupt officials if elected.

MANILA, Philippines – Presidential contender Sen. Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao vowed that if elected, his administration would end impunity in the fight against government corruption, ensuring that corrupt officials fill prisons.

“Subukan nila ako ng anim na taon,” she said. Ipapagawa kong mega prison mapupuno ‘yun. I’m going to put the courrupt in the gigantic prison I’m going to build. We must put a stop to the Filipinos’ misery. We should put an end to the misery of individuals who share my history), “Pacquiao stated Sunday night at the Sofitel Plaza in Pasay City during the second episode of the Commission on Elections PiliPinas presidential debate.

In response to a question about whether the root of corruption could be deemed systemic or based on personal flaws, Pacquiao stated that he would like to see the bureaucracy fully automated to eliminate fixers and other middlemen, but did not explain.

To eliminate corruption, he argued, leadership and political will are required, and that disciplining corrupt officials would be an effective deterrent.

“Sa gusto, no automation, no operation para walang commission isa na’yan at kinakilangan talaga dito’yung tinatawag natin leadership at political will magkasama yan,” he said. That is one of them. What’s actually needed here is political will and leadership. Those that steal should be sent behind jail, in my opinion. Because no one is caught, those who steal multiply. We can’t reduce that until we imprison them, which would prevent others),” Pacquiao added.

Pacquiao said corruption is to blame for the country’s long struggle against poverty, recalling his humble origins as a poor child in General Santos City.

Ang sinisisi ko palagi ‘yung mga kawatan dyan sa gobyerno I’m saddened by the impoverished and hungry, as well as those who lack opportunities. I blame the government’s crooks) “he stated

All of the presidential contenders were present, with the exception of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
