MANILA, Philippines — The country will continue to have pleasant weather for the next three days, according to the weather agency.
“No meteorological disturbance or low-pressure region is expected to affect the country for the next three days,” said Ezra Bulquerin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The frontal system that is impacting extreme northern Luzon will bring rain to Batanes.
“The weather in Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be hot and humid. In the afternoon or evening, isolated rain showers are expected “Bulquerin said.
PAGASA, on the other hand, predicts flash floods or landslides in Batanes during moderate to heavy rainfall, as well as severe thunderstorms across the country.
The temperature in Metro Manila and Tuguegarao could reach 35 degrees Celsius; 33 degrees Celsius in Legazpi and Laoag; and 32 degrees Celsius in the Kalayaan Islands.
Temperatures in Zamboanga, Iloilo, and Cebu might reach 33 degrees Celsius.
Over the whole archipelago, light to moderate breezes and mild to moderate seas will persist.
