UniTeam support is a vote for PH’s ‘progress’: Marcos

On Saturday, presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Inday Sara Duterte held a very successful miting de avance in the Solaire open grounds in Paranaque City, which was attended by hundreds of thousands of fans.

During the arduous 90-day campaign path that began on February 8, the BBM-final Sara’s miting de avance eliminated all previous crowd estimates.

In his speech, Marcos also stated that the people’s vote for the UniTeam in the next elections is a vote for the country’s unity and growth.

“Po ninyo alalahanin na ang UniTeam support, para sa tambalang Marcos at saka Duterte ay hindi lamang support sa mga kandidato. It supports the pagkakaisa. It is a support for the Philippines’ unification. It is not your support for the candidates if you back UniTeam for the Marcos-Duterte duo. This is your pledge of support for Philippine unity, growth, and a brighter future) “Marcos explained.

In Visayas, the BBM-Sara UniTeam hosted a miting de avance on May 3 in Guimbal, Iloilo, and in Mindanao on May 5 in Tagum, Davao del Sur.

Massive crowds flocked to the Solaire grounds to watch strong performances by local celebrities such Toni Gonzaga, Andrew E., Willie Revillame, Dulce, Cris Villongco, Kris Lawrence, Geneva Cruz, and others.

Andrew E. enthralled the crowd once more with his distinctive brand of rap songs, implying that the UniTeam pair will win by a landslide in Monday’s polls.

A stunning fireworks performance lasted at least 15 minutes, and the crowd was also treated to a world-class synchronized drone show.

Toni Gonzaga, an actress, and singer sang a heartfelt rendition of the UniTeam theme song, Umagang kay Ganda, before presenting Marcos.

For a brief period onstage, the standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) was joined by his wife Louise Araneta-Marcos and sons Vincent, Sandro, and Simon.

Marcos congratulated his followers for attending the miting de avance and responding to the UniTeam’s appeal for unity in his address to the large gathering.

“Thank you very much, sir, at dito sa ating kahuli-hulihang rally, ang ating miting de avance ay nagpakita muli ang lahat ng ating kababayan na kasama ninyo ay nasa likod at lakas ng suporta ng madlang Pilipino sa UniTeam at saka

Marcos also urged Filipinos to safeguard their votes and to exercise caution on election day.

He also urged all Filipinos to vote tomorrow and participate in the election of the country’s next leaders.

(My countrymen, from the bottom of my heart, let us love the Philippines for God, for our country, for our family.) Thank you again),” she concluded.

With more than 3.2 million registered voters in Cebu, the province’s largest party, One Cebu, has predicted a landslide victory for the Marcos-Duterte ticket.

Meanwhile, the governors of Cavite and Laguna predicted that Marcos and Duterte would win by a landslide, with the pair receiving a combined 2.4 million votes in their respective regions.

Political commentators credit the UniTeam’s probable victory to its clear messaging, which includes a genuine call for unity among Filipinos in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Analysts also remarked that Marcos and Duterte’s opposition to negative campaigning helped endear them to Filipino voters who are tired of candidates arguing.

Agriculture, job creation, education, youth, housing, infrastructure, digital infrastructure, energy, tourism, healthcare, overseas Filipino workers, Covid-19 response, and national security will be prioritized by the UniTeam’s government platform, which focuses on the country’s bid to emerge from the pandemic.

Marcos and Sara also promised to maintain President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Build, Build, Build program.

Marcos would become the first president elected by a majority in a multi-party system if he wins the next elections.

Ai Ai Delas Alas, an actress and comedian, and comedian Bayani Agbayani hosted the event.
