PPCRV got electronic ERs that matched physical copies.

MANILA – The “fourth copy” of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) matches 100 percent with the electronic election returns (ERs) transmitted to the transparency server, the church-based poll monitor stated on Thursday.

This comes after the PPCRV received 24,640 physical copies of pre-transmission ERs in its command center at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila as of 11:20 a.m. It has encoded 16,820 ERs thus far.

Vann Dela Cruz, PPCRV Lega Affairs Director and Spokesperson, said interested parties can work with the poll watchdog and that the data is open to sharing.

“Ang tanong ng mga tao, pagbato ng mga VCM sa cyberspace, baka mamaya, baka may biglang mag-intercept eh. People may wonder, “What if the data transmitted by the VCM was intercepted in cyberspace and the numbers were changed before reaching at the server?” “In a press conference, Dela Cruz stated.

He explained that before the data reached cyberspace, eight pre-transmission copies were produced, and the PPCRV is entitled to the “fourth copy,” which is being brought to the PPCRV command center for authentication by volunteers from across the country.

Dela Cruz urged their detractors to consider the efforts of PPCRV volunteers, who crossed rivers and mountains to safely transport the ERs to the command center.

“There is a proper place to raise those concerns, but let us do so here. We must continue to work. We have the authority. We continue to validate ER visits as they come in. Let us be calm, Philippines “he urged.

According to the PPCRV’s transparency server, ERs from 106,008 or 98.35 percent of the 107,785 clustered precincts had already been transmitted and counted as of 6:02 p.m. Thursday.
